How To Use
- Cleanse and dry the target area — heels, elbows, knees, or rough patches.
- Apply a generous layer. Be liberal — this is body care, not a serum.
- Rub in until fully absorbed. Skin should feel soft, not slick.
- Repeat 2–3 times daily during the first 2 weeks (repair phase).
- From week 3 onwards: maintenance use, once daily or every other day.
- Heel hack: Apply at night under cotton socks for an overnight repair treatment. Visible results in 5–7 nights.

FAQ
Is 20% urea safe for sensitive skin?
Yes — for body skin (heels, elbows, knees, dry patches). 20% urea is a well-established cosmetic concentration. Uremel Extra also includes Allantoin and D-Panthenol specifically to reduce irritation. We don’t recommend it for facial use. If you have very sensitive skin, patch-test on the inner forearm for 24 hours before full application.
Can I use it during pregnancy?
The cream contains salicylic acid at 2% in a leave-on body product. Topical salicylic acid at low concentrations is generally considered low-risk during pregnancy, but no skincare product with active acids should be used in pregnancy without your doctor’s go-ahead. If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, check with your OB before starting.
How long until my cracked heels actually improve?
Most users see visible softening within 7 days, and meaningful improvement on deep cracks within 14 days, when used 2–3 times daily with the overnight-socks trick. Severe heel fissures can take 3–4 weeks. Consistency matters more than aggressive use.
Can I use it on my face?
No. Uremel Extra is formulated for body skin. Facial skin is thinner and far more reactive — 20% urea is too high for the face. For facial dryness, use a dedicated facial moisturizer. For facial exfoliation, use a lower-strength acid product designed for the face (our Some By Mi range has options).
Does it work for keratosis pilaris (KP / chicken skin)?
Yes — this is one of the best applications for the formula. KP is keratin build-up around hair follicles, and 20% urea + 2% salicylic acid is one of the most effective topical combinations for it. Apply to the back of the upper arms or thighs twice daily for 2–3 weeks. Most users see the bumps soften and the texture smooth out.
Can it replace my regular body moisturizer?
For the rough areas (heels, elbows, knees, KP zones) — yes, this is more effective than a standard body lotion. For your full body, no — that would be overkill. Most users layer: Uremel Extra on the rough zones, regular body lotion on the rest. Once heels and elbows smooth out, drop to weekly maintenance with Uremel.
